First, the short answer: no, Lords of Football won't portray real footballers. The founding concept behind Lords of Football is originality, fun and innovation - so it was an obvious choice early on in the development of the game to refrain from chasing official licenses.

Creating a "new football experience" is a compelling and very creative task.
