What is Lords of Football?
Lords of Football is a new Lifestyle football simulation, where you take the hot seat as the first team manager. In a single player experience to develop your team into the the best squad in European football, by winning the European championship tournament.
When is the game being released?
Lords of Football is in the final stages of development, an official release date has not yet been announced, but you can expect to see it released early 2013.
Platforms it will be released on?
Initially the game will be released on the PC platform, then we will look to create further versions such as consoles.
Will there be a demo version?
There will not be a demo version released prior to the launch of the PC version.
Will it be a Facebook game?
Lords of Football is a full PC game, that will need to be installed on to a desktop PC.
Will it be released on Mac or Linux?
Currently we are working on the PC version of the game, in the future we hope to make Mac and Linux versions available.
Can I download the game?
When the game is officially released it will be possible to download it from various online digital stores as well as from the Lords of Football website.
Which languages will the game be translated in to?
Available languages will initially be EFIGS (English, French, Italian, German, Spanish) and for release we're also including Portuguese and Russian with more to follow.
Which countries will it be released in?
A world wide release is planned for Lords of Football with it becoming available via boxed and digital copies.
Will Lords of Football be free to play?
Lords of Football will not be a free to play game, it will be available as a one time purchase game with DLC and expansions to extend the gameplay.
Will there be DLCs
Yes we are planning to make new download content available after the game has been officially released, more information will be given on what the DLC will contain.
Will there be an ipad/mobile version of Lords of Football?
We are considering the creation of an ipad/mobile application but the exact form it will take is still in the concept stage.
Gameplay
Can I play at an international level?
No, the game will focus on club level football. Lords of Football intends to capture the ups and downs of a first team manager in a national football league. The objective is to develop your team and become the champions of Europe.
Will I be a manager or a player?
When playing Lords of Football you will play as the God of your world, so you have more powers available to you then just managing your team on the pitch, training, tactics and night time activities all have to be controlled by you.
Will Lords of Football feature real player names?
You can select a team from any of the following 5 playable nations in Europe: England, France, Italy, Germany and Spain. The name of the teams and the footballers will not be real, but we give you the ability to customise the name of your team and football players by way of our team editor.
Will there be a multiplayer mode in Lords of Football?
The game is designed as a single player experience and as such does not contain multiplayer features at this time.
Can I edit the names of my football players?
Yes, not only football player names, but team names, team logos and team shirts can also be customized.
Is it possible to change to another club or get fired?
Lords of Football is not a career manger, there will not be the option to change from team to team. The team that you have created will be your world and you will be judged on how will you are able to develop them.
If you are unfortunately fired from your club this would mean Game Over and you would have to start again, make sure you do all that is necessary to make your team succeed.
Can I play with a game-pad on my PC
While playing on the PC the control inputs will be keyboard and mouse, it will be possible to change the default setting to suit your needs.
